Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) update
On August 16, 2023, IFMA St. Louis offered an educational program on Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, initiatives, campaigns and resources. Chapter members and their guests were able to attend for free and receive updates on the health and safety organization's efforts from speaker, Bill McDonald, CSP, Area Director for OSHA's St. Louis office.
The presentation included injury and fatality statistics, as well as information on national, regional and local programs meant to protect the safety and health of workers. McDonald covered OSHA's initiatives and campaigns, detailed the most frequently cited standards, and guided employers to available OSHA compliance assistance resources.

2023 Summer Social and Photos
IFMA St. Louis members kicked off the season by celebrating newly installed chapter Officers and Directors, along with significant member accomplishments, at the July 19th Summer Social event at Cafe' Piazza (pictured below).

IFMA Designees recognized for recently achieving the SFP, FMP and CFM were: Phillip Russell, CMF with Enterprise Holdings, Inc. / Nicholas Wiegand, FMP with Centene Corp. / and Jimmy Dunn, SFP with Schneider Electric.
Presentations were also made to Tauquincy Neal Logan, FMP, SFP, for Facility Manager of the Year, Andy Knudtson for Associate of the Year, and the Missouri Botanical Garden for Facility of the Year.
