April 16, 2014 Program Highlights

Over fifty members and colleagues attended an informative program on codes, controls, and LED’s.

Lighting is one of the most rapidly changing sectors of the building industry.  If employed properly, these changes can result in healthier workplaces, higher return on investments, and reduced maintenance.  Employed improperly these changes generate increased callbacks, lost revenue and unrealized savings.

Our presenter, Steve Andert, has been designing and specifying lighting and controls for a variety of markets and applications for over twenty years.  Thank you very much Steve for sharing your expertise with our membership.

On behalf of our chapter, we would like to thank World Wide Technology for hosting and sponsoring our April program.  Special thanks to Justin Reise, Manager, Corporate Properties and his team at World Wide Technology for assisting Skip MacEwen and Rich Janis with the logistics of the program.  Your support Is greatly appreciated.

IFMA St. Louis Celebrates the Season

On Wednesday evening, December 11, members and guests visited the unique Donald Danforth Plant Science Center to celebrate the season with their IFMA friends.

We would like to thank our chapter members, Howard Beittenmiller, Director, Facilities & Support for hosting the event, and, Ms. LeAnn Hefner with Paragon Certified Restoration for coordinating the festivities for the evening.  It was an awesome event.

The evening included cocktails, a buffet dinner, and festive music by the Vince Martin band.  Even though it was rather cold outside, it didn’t stop members and old friends from dropping by to wish each other a happy Holiday Season.  We hope everyone enjoyed themselves.
